CHRISTMAS EVE SUPPER
Traditionally Christmas Eve is a family occasion so our Christmas Eve menu has been carefully designed to be enjoyed by everyone with some tradition favourites alongside some very special sharing plates. Â Whether you are looking for a light supper before the big day or a genuine feast to satiate the senses with family and friends, the Beach Bistro at the Gallivant is the perfect spot to enjoy some calm before the storm!
£35 per person/£15 per child (under 12)
CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH
We don’t think you should mess around with the traditional Christmas Day lunch so we don’t. The best, locally sourced ingredients from suppliers that supply us the best before anyone else, a kitchen that knows what to do and staff that are genuinely determined to give you a great time. It’s a simple recipe, we just follow it to the letter and as a result have built up a steadfastly loyal local following.
Our 5 course Christmas Day lunch features local free range turkey, a choice of luxurious starters, the indomitable homemade Gallivant Christmas pud and the largest truckle of stilton to pass around and enjoy.

CHRISTMAS DAY SUPPER
After the thoroughly Englishness of English lunches Christmas Day supper is a real break from tradition and a refreshing and exciting culinary break to the spices and aromatics of the Far East.
If you have ever been to the Orient you’ll no doubt recall the robust simplicity of the food and its immediacy, a glorious explosion to the senses. The hot, sour, salty and sweet freshness of the dishes and the fragrancy of the ingredients. A combination we think will work rather well after the decidedly traditional tastes of an English Christmas.
£25 per person, £10 per child (alternative food for children will be on offer)
BOXING DAY BRUNCH
A ‘beachcombers’ buffet will be running from 12noon until 4pm. Sides of local meat char grilled or spit roast to perfection served alongside a variety of heart warming dishes served on huge feasting plates for you to choose from. You can book a more informal affair served inside our toasty hot beach hut, the perfect refuelling spot after a ‘gallivant’ along the beach. Dogs are welcome! Or book a table in the Bistro for slightly more formal atmosphere.

NEW YEARS EVE DINNER
The Gallivant New Years Eve Dinner is a culinary tour de force! Picking the absolute best local ingredients from our favourite suppliers, Trevor and his team are preparing an exquisite 6 course feast for the senses that will certainly bring in the new year with style. Bring the person you love to share the delicious food and fine wine and salute the coming year.

NEW YEARS DAY BRUNCH
For some it’s the day after the night before, a reason to refuel and recover, for others it’s the day to celebrate the New Year. Whatever your reason to visit we hope you’ll visit our beach and spend some time just gallivanting along, re-charging the batteries and de-stressing the senses.
For Recoverers we are hosting a New Years Day ‘Hangover Buffet’ that will run from 12noon until 4pm. Think Bloody Mary’s followed by spit roast meats and healthy sides to get the system going again. You can book a more informal affair served inside our toasty hot beach hut, the perfect refuelling spot after a ‘gallivant’ along the beach. Dogs are welcome! Or book a table in the Bistro for slightly more formal atmosphere.
